The Secret Of Dwayna's Shrine

Hello all. I hope this hasn't been posted before, or else I risk looking quite foolish. In any case, the information I set out below is so useful it bears repeating anyway.

So I was near Beetletun in Post-Searing and I was killing Caromi Braves and such. I saw near Nebo Terrace a Statute of Dwayna, complete with the standard plaque. On a whim, I kneeled (/kneel) just to see what would happen. A cool sound played and a level 30 Avatar of Dwayna appeared. I talked to it and I had two choices which I could make an offering to.

1. One was to Conquest: yields an enchantment which stays with you until you go to another area (as far as I can tell). "Dwayna's Blessing. Enchantment Spell. Target ally regains Health faster while this spell remains in effect." Now, this is great because it gives you 3 pips of regen in health, coupled with Mending and Healing Breeze- you can't die! This offering requires 50 gold.

2. The other was to Courage, and this gives you a 2% morale bonus. I think this stacks if you keep giving offerings until you reach 10%. This offering requires 100 gold.

I hope I didn't mix up which offering does what...

By the way, I'm a clvl 17. Don't know if character level has anything to do with it. I tried kneeling in Sardelac Sanitarium but the avatar didn't do anything.

I just wonder if they going to do anything for the statues in the town aside the on in temple of ages...

Thanks for the info... I wasn't aware of it either! I'll be sure to give it a try the next time i'm near a shrine.

HAH! No one believed me when I said about Dwayna's blessing. HAHAH I WAS RIGHT!

kneeling at the statues in temple of ages seems to summon avatars of the different gods only two would talk to me though

It works ... been to two of Grenths Temples ... one down west of Maguuma Stade and the other right near the soutern tip of Lonars Pass ... both offer the same plus an entry into the U/W.

I was hoping to stumble apon Grenths Footprints ... but with no such luck.

Thanks, yes I remember when I used to farm runes in Nebo Terrace and the 3 Pips of Health made the run so easy
