Guild Halls - Yes i have searched!!

As far as i under stand there are 8 guild halls :
Nomads
Druids
Warriors
Magicians
Burning
Dead
Hunters
I was woundering how different are they. I know the appearance is different but is there any bonuses on any? Or is it just the apperance.
Also does anyone have any screenys of them?

They have slight variations in gameplay to.
If you go to the docks in Lion's Arch, you can go visit all of them for free.

I remember most have effects.My Guild is getting Druid's Isle.Here are the effects:
Druid-While standing in the river, you get a health regen. of 1.
Nomad-You can teleport using the teleporters.
Dead-Closable gates and I have also heard the water slows you down.
Frozen-Stand still on the ice and you begin to move 70% slower.
Burning-Lava Cripples and sets you on fire.
Warriors, Magicians, and Hunters I don't know about.

these are both negative effects... there has to be a positive one too or nobody would ever get them

What teleporters? Is this not just mapping? Or do you mean you can teleport to portals?

Teleporters are just like the ones in the desert but you dont have to play simon says.

ah, the negs are effects on opponents and not on the players? nice, offensive effects.
What about the gates? (I don't know the teleporters but I get a feeling if I probed further this would be a spoiler)

warrior is the asian looking island.
one group starts at the castle, the other starts at the ship. just outside both gates there're trebuchets that you can use. you have to carry a repair kit to the trebuchet, and when it's repaired, you can use it to bombard enemy players inside their fortress.
that's the only hall i'm familiar with; a side question, is it possible for a guild to switch halls?

But the negative and positive effect affect BOTH team. So in the lava map both your and the opposing team would be set on fire if they walked into the lava.

Be warned there is a known exploit with the Wizard's Hall. I will not give any info as i would hate to see more people do this. But if you go against any of the better guilds (who are not afraid to cheat) you will get screwed.

2 of my guildmates just won a celestial Sigit. So were starting polls on our forum to pick the hall for our guild.

Ok, so whats so great about a guild hall? Do you need one to be competitive in the PVP arenas? Is it mandatory that you have one to play PVP? Can you store stuff there? I mean what's the advantage?

Well guild halls let you compete in GUILD pvp, but u can still do stuff like HoH or pvp in 4v4 matches around the place.

You know, if more people know about the exploit in Wizards guild hall, then it is likely to get patched or fixed. If you hate to see more people do it, i think you should file a complaint, and try and get it fixed.

well, GvG is ladder based, and i would hate to see a mass amount of people grow in rank simply becuase of a stupid bug. that is why i am not telling anyone.

So, let me try to wrap my head around this (and a little help from the gosus please)
PvP and HoH are not connected to the ladder, team max is 4 and so total competitors max is 8
GvG is on the ladder, must have a guild hall to participate, team max is 8 and total competitors can reach 30
I'm sure I'm getting this wrong, can someone clarify?

GvG is Guild (8) vs. Guild (8) so GvG = 8v8 one team vs. one team

If all the halls have dis/advantages then I don't see how 7 out of the 8 are ever used, surely one is much better than the others and everyone users that?
From touring the islands and reading this thread the warrior or wizard one sound best unless they fix the bug.

Lets see... warriors has catapults for the opponents to those defending the fort. No storage in a hall, though i've been trying to get them to change that.
Isle of the dead is the most popular, but our guild chose hunter's isle for the hot tub. Yes, we really did.
