This can be captured from one of the boses in Thirsty River mission. The boss to the right in the third section.
kingfencer
my guy was in thirsty river mission, the priest to the left most side in the third section. I think the priest on teh right side of the second section has it too, but my teamates killed him to fast for me to get a signet on it.
Viruzzz
you can't capture it from the priest. you can only capture form bosses.
the monk boss in the left side of the 3rd part of thirsty river has it. i think theres a guy with it in dunes aswell

anyone have problems with this skill? i find over half the time, it doesn't heal for the additional hp it says it does even if he was down to 33%.
sandstorm87
I don't have any problems with it
Deep
I akso got it from the guy on the left. I like it. Was my first elite capture.
Tacko
what boss : / and plz tell me, do i have to use sig of capture while he's alive or?

This skill only heals for additional health, if your target has less than 50% health, after your target gets healed for the initial amount. I.e. if your target has 200/500 health, and you have level 12 healing prayers and level 0 divine favor, then your target will only get healed for 67. If your target had 150/500 health, then your target would get healed for 150.
Blahofstars
I don't know, but sometimes when I use it in Fissure, it heals for the bonus as well when the health bar is like 65% full. It could have been a high damage hit and me healing at the exact same time, but I see it quite often.
kingfencer
oh.... if thats the case... then i don't like this skill, it fails too many times on me, in fissure and uw, the extra points help.... i think your right, the extra health is after you count in the extra hp for divine boon. Lots of people like this skill, but i don't, i'm gonna try to figgure another skill out.
Mercury Angel
If you use Divine Boon, you don't need the spike heal from Word of Healing since all of your heals become very effective, and you can instead elect for something else to help manage your additional energy cost from it.
Iraqalypse Now
Peace and Harmony is very good for a boon healer, as is Offering of Blood.... basically you want any energy managment elite with divine boon. Peace and Harmony is my favorite, but is a lot more vulnerable to enchantment removal than offering of blood....

It's a handy skill though because it only takes 5 energy and heals more than orison of healing, even without the under 50% bonus. And when a party member's health gets very low, its an energy saver to use Word of Healing instead of Heal Other, which uses double the energy. I spam World of Healing and Orison of Healing along with Heal Other in battle and it seems to be very effective.

It i supposed to be an emergency heal and I think it fails miserably at that.
Why ?
1. You try to use it in the window where target ally is about 35% health to get the full effect. The road down to 0 is fast and furious.
2. It takes to long to cast to be an emergency heal. And if you are dealing with spike damage in the 35% window. Often the result is death for your target.
I am sick of it. In PvE yes, when you have some time and mobs don't do too much damage, yes great...somewhat...
I am droppin it...

Actually... because of word of healing, it's really the only way I've been able to keep my team alive in those really brutal battles when you are down to very little energy. I find if I'm on a team doing a mission and say the monk leaves, or two people leave.. we still manage to do the mission.
It's probably one of my favorite skills in the game. I use it over any other elite when I am playing a focused healer.

Maxiemonster
Fun, but a waste of an Elite spot if you ask me I'm playing a Healing Monk too, but since Word of Healing doesn't give that extra 104 Health bonus it should give me when the targeted ally has under 50% Health I think it's not that great. It's great though that when it does work I heal for over 300 Health I don't carry it, but I can understand some others do.

its good stats, low mana coast and small recharge time. Its the shit for PvP i recon....

Maxiemonster: My friend and I have tested this the reason why WoH doesn't kick the bonus in is because, the divine favor healing kicks in before WoH healing kicks in. So if your hp is above 50% after divine favor healing kicked in, then WoH will only heal without the bonus. imo The divine favor healing should be kick in after the spell not before the spell so then WoH is effective.

You can also capture this in mineral springs from Avicera Tengu boss.
FirstBorn
You can find it in the Thirsy River Mission in the last of the areas, Josse, like previously stated by many others. I really enjoy this spell and have not really experienced any real problems with it.

I am droppin it... you know, i agree with you...WoH is very hard to use to its fullest effect...that's why I still carry Orison, Sig of Devotion and Dwayna's Kiss on me (for heavily-enchanted teammates). Divine Boon is a staple on my monks, unless my team runs Nature's Renewal.

yes, you are correct. i think Maxiemonster misunderstood how WoH works...
that's why WoH is a very hard healing spell to use at its maximum potential, if you're running Divine Boon...it's for the "last-ditch" emergency heals...

Ah, so that's the problem Thank you very much for testing. I'm using it again after running Peace and Harmony and Martyr a while But since I use Divine Boon + 13/15 Divine Favor, I'm pretty much screwed, since I might as well take Dwayna's Kiss/Orison of Healing and take Peace and Harmony as an Elite instead again.. So I'll change back, again
I think this should be changed, since this makes the Word of Healing effect rather confusing.. I'll send ANet an email, I hope they take is serious and they'll do something with it

Yeah, send them an email. There's no way an after-effect like the Divine Boon health bonus should work BEFORE the actual effects of the main spell you're casting. I too was starting to wonder if Word of Healing was bugged (sometimes wasn't noticing the extra health bonus from WoH on borderline ~50% health heals) but this seems to be the real reason why.
Needs to be fixed if this is indeed the case. Although it's a nice spell for quick 5-spot heal spells (Orison and WoH), the fact that it's an elite, a 'heal other', and this Divine Boon miscalculation when deciding whether or not to give the damn health bonus REALLY kills its value.

I agree the Divine Favor bugs kills this skill's value : it's just not worth the elite slot for a Monk. On the other hand, I often take it on my Wa/Mo. I'm not supposed to act as a healer unless things get bad, so most times it plays out for full effect ; I obviously don't have a Divine Favor problem ; the low energy consumption is a real boon considering my limited pool. All in all, it's worth sacrificing my Elite slot when the party has only one Monk primary.
I actually used it to keep my whole party alive during the Elona Falls mission, when we realised our monk was a lucridous 105 invincimonk build that kept aggroing mobs and shouting "don't interrupt me".
All in all, a cheaper Heal Others more fit for secondaries.

o would much rather use infuse health for an emergancy heal. heals much better with a super fast cast time.
Faithless
u can cap it in the fow 2 :P

VERY GOOD HEALING SPELL.I can heal lvl 20s from 10% to 100% in 1 sec. This spell actually has like no casting time its like orison or even faster i think.u should be healing most of ur ppl with this if they hav 40-60% becuz it takes so lil damage to kill some1 so do it in that timeframe and theyll probly get the extra boost

Where is mineral springs?
Ristaron
Mineral Springs are north of the Granite Citadel in the South Shiverpeaks.
And Word of Healing is my favourite healing skill, I find it more often than not glued to my skillbar. Very few times have I removed it.

Maxiemonster
World of Healing is a thing of the past now, which it should be, since most builds that run WOH as an elite aren't that effective, unless fighting against something that needs a spike heal, which I'd just take Infuse Life for in the first place, since that doesn't take you elite slot
Inureface
Well, now you either see spike or huge degen teams, but in PvE I use this skill more than any other monk elite (restore condition if I'm going prot) just because it saves 25 energy ever 5 heals as oppsoed to heal other.

I have noticed the same problem kingfencer has experienced, making this elite not so special. It only seems to work correctly about half the time.
Wrath Of Dragons
is anyone noticing the skill not healing AT ALL? much like infuse was bugged a while ago?
Or is it a combo of lag and/or timing so it only seems that way?

It was working fine for me yesterday and the day before when I was solo monking FoW. Personally I've never had any problems with it, though sometimes it seems like it doesn't do as much because the guy you're healing gets whacked at the same time.
