I dont know if you noticed but Ascalon is pretty much a ash desert, I doubt it could support the survivers of the Searing, let alone the survivers of Ascalon and Kyrta.
Another error, D'Alessio seaboard is the name of the region and not the fort (well its nothing but a gate) and if Lion's Arch is taken they are pretty much screwed since its the gate to Shiverpeak mountains and the path to Frost Gate, the game says there are two paths into Ascalon with one being in Yak's Bend and the other deep into Charr territory.
I dont like to predict things but the game effective removes the head of the White Mantle and I doubt they would survive with the fall of their allies and the truth comming out on what they were doing with the Chosen, also the game strongly implies that Kryta will have a Queen.

nobody cares
If it's a good story I dont think anyone would care so right now I'm in serious shock

Everyone in Kryta was evacuating. News of the White Mantle defeat spurred the Lionguard to retake control of Kryta, if only for a short time. On a more suspicious note, Cantha suddenly cut relations with Tyria, and no news came. Without a home, the White Mantle army, and the Krytan refugees struck out for Ascalon, to seek refuge in a land once inhabited by those the White Mantle sheltered. the Ascalon settelers also moved with them, having lost their settlement to the undead.
Jogan was dissatisfied with the cut of news from Cantha, and headed for Port Sledge when the army was camped at Droknars Forge, to seek news from a Canthan ship laying derelict at the port.
Upon his arival, Jogan found the door closed, and locked. Making sure no one was looking, he wrenched open the door. An immense figure with dark wings stood before him. With a gasp, Jogan reached for his sword, only to find a dwarf, dressed in clothes unlike the Deldrimor Dwarves, holding Jogan's blade, smiling.
"Your adventure ends here, my friend," boomed the figure before him. Jogan knew nothing more.

it is one very good story (hell of a lot better than i could do)
*SPOILER*
however i was sure that the mantle had been broken with the defeat of the mursaat and Dorian is killed in thunderhead keep. also i thought the undead where done for after the destruction of the lich...their creator?
*END OF SPOILER*
good things though are that i think Cantha will likely feature prominently in the next or at least one of the up and comeing chapters.
i also think that ascalon can quite easily become green again grass is already growing on the ground and just think of it like a volcanic eruption... the land will always recover (it would be cool to see it looking like pre-searing yet with the big crystals still dotting the landscape)

If you want to see something that IS plausible of being published check out my rp thread in Lyssa's Theater link.
It may be boring at the beginning but we have created a solid plot storyline and have many characters set and knowing where they stand and who they are and where they fit in to the story.
This in Microsoft Word *storyline posts only* has created OVER 80 PAGES of action, drama, mystery and romance. All the styles *imho* blend seemlessly together. Ownage's very in depth and detailed posts, Dac's always solving one mystery or another, Link's following the thoughts of little Mali, Sanjinu as the insane elementalist, and me as Vantie's lover, mother of Malikai, and the one unit that holds the group together.
I trust no one has taken anything personally, and that you see the light in my post.
This was posted purely as constructive criticism.

Jogan bit into the surprisingly tasy and delicious vegetebles, and resumed eating.
How dare you misspell VEGETABLES! Are you anti-vegetarian?
