I haven't actually played yet, but I'm about to pre-order so i can get in on the last beta before release...
My concern is i was really wanting to play a Warrior / Necromancer, and after looking at the abilities of other classes i see Air Elentalist... Now i see an ability called Blinding Flash, which says it blinds (attack has 90% chance of missing) which casts in 3/4sec lasts 3-9sec and recharges in 4sec... Which means they could cast it over and over to keep a warrior's hit chance at 10%, 1 out of 10 hits isn't good for someone who is depending on hitting...
Sounds like it entirely shuts down a warrior??? So my questions are:
1. Is this spell as strong as it sounds?
2. Is there an ability a warrior can take to get aound it?
New Warrior's Concern...

First of all, this post should probably have gone in the builds forum.
Addressing the actual question though: Blindness is a condition, so skills that counter conditions are what you are looking for. Your Necromancer half should have some good condition counters if you check their skill lists. Off the top of my head I can think of Plague Sending and Plague Touch which both transfer negative conditions from you to target foe.
Edit: Okay, so it was moved to the Q+A forum instead of the build forum. I'll have to work on my organization predicting skills.

blind is a condition, and there are ways to counter conditions
first off blinding flash doesnt last very long, so an ele that wants to keep you blind forever is going to have to pay a lot of energy to do it
monks have a few abilities which will lift the condition from you
but the fact taht you want to play a warrior necro is perfect. necros have a nifty little skill called plague touch, which will give a condition you have to an enemy you touch. so you can turn around and slap the blind on one of their wars, and also give him back any bleeds/deep wounds he tries to give you as well

Like others have said, Blindness doesn't last long, and Purge Conditions will take care of that quite handily.
Warrior/Necros are a pretty dangerous mix in my opinion, so hopefully you have some good luck playing that out, and have fun playing the upcoming beta.

the necro also has the different touches that wont be affected by blindness.
Im not sure how warrior skills like seeking blade work, ie is being blind the same as the target using a skill that increases the chance to evade/block.

Thank you all for your input. I'm very releived after looking at the curses i was only looking at the blood magic before... But now i'm definately doing curses.

i have a warrior/nec and it is a kick-insert explesitive here, build, i mainly rely on my sword skills and blood magic, but do have a few points put into death/curses for just that ocassion, but remember, being a warr/nec has the ability to put DOT's on players, draining there life and giveing it to you, this is very very effective, as a level 10 in blood i think its 3 hp's per sec. and lasts for a while, plus u can use skills like the axe attack that disrupts casters. finally with a lil bit of death magic u can summon minnions from dead enemies around u to do even more damage all in all this build has been my favorite throught the last few BWE's. and to add one more thing, theres a sword attack combo called severartery/gash. it wipes out most players/creatures that bleed in seconds, added with blood magic's DOT's u can easily wipe out an entire mob of creatures or at least one or 2 other players with relative ease

I use Dismember+Executioner's Strike for extreme damage. Sever Artery/Gash is a very deadly DoT combo as well... I like axes though since a large majority of enemies I've encountered in pve don't bleed... [damn undead/golems/elementals/etc.]
