Immaturity in Gaming...

Ok, i know that all games have there ups and downs. One "down side" is the amount of immature players in games. I didnt really care about the couple of immature players i came across first, but after a week or two, it got out of hand. Constantly People are spamming in the "general chat" what there selling, or talking about some bs stuff that little 10 year olds would talk about. Here is an example:

BLANK : (General chat) SELLING 50 x BONES! MSG ME MSG ME MSG ME!
BlANK : (General chat) SELLING 50 x BONES! MSG ME GOD DAMN IT! MSG
BLANK : (General chat) SELLINg 50 x BONES! YOU KNOW YOU WANT SOME! I KNOW YOUR MOM DID WHEN I WAS IN BED WITH HER LAST NIGHT!!

Xeqtr The Mighty: BLANK, Can you please talk about trading in the trade channel? The spam you are causing is getting out of hand...

BLANK: GO SUCK MY **** YOU ****ing *** I DO WHAT EVER THE **** I WANT! YOU GOT THAT? I WILL PWN j00 LIL NOOB! SCRUB!


Ok, this is just one of the many people i came across like this. I know there isnt anyway to stop this, but i thought i would just post this up. *sigh* i guess its just part of the game and theres nothing i can do

I'd report that to ANet with a screencap if you got one...

Incompetant teammates aggravates me more than immature players. Is there really a reason to be upset by general chat spam? There really is no need to be in town to communicate...you can always whisper and if you want to trade you can go to bidding forums.

I spend a lot of time in places like Lion's Arch (District 1) and the non-stop flow of pink text doesn't bother me much. Only a few times have people spammed the general chat, and they only do it about once every five seconds.

The fact that one warrior in every single one of my parties runs off and ruins things like killing whole party, or not tanking correctly for the monk, is worse IMO. I don't want to join a guild just to have a party who knows what they're doing. So far I've had one party where all six people were excellent. I hope when I get to 8 people parties that the players are intelligent enough to do better.

Idiots are a fact of life in massively-multiplayer online gaming and a topic about them won't make them go away, even if it is the eleventy bajillionth one.
