Capture Elites from Secondary Job?

I was just told that it's possible to capture skills (and elites) from your secondary job... is this true? I was lead to believe otherwise... but this person said he had more elites from his secondary than from his primary.

Yes you can capture elites from your secondary. I also have more elites from my Elementalist secondary then my Warrior primary.
