Found 3 Odd Areas... Anyone know what these are for?

We were running around NE of the Granite Citadel and found a cave.


Of course we went in...





Pay the Lyssa statue 100g and she buffs your PARTY Morale by 2%. Pay her 50g and she'll cure everything wrong with you personally (in-game, mind you ) AND give you a LASTING buff that gives you +3 health regen.

There are also Balthazaar and Grenth versions of the same thing that we've found since then.

The flashy circular object LOOKS like a portal but you cannot walk inside. It pulses continuously regardless of player action.

The Morale boost is nice, but kinda worthless given the position of the areas.... That being VERY remote.

Anyone have a clue what these are for?

hmm interesting, perhaps an area for future use, e,g quest, mission, expansion, or will be made a town. who knows? Or perhaps its just an interesting area to make explorations more intriguing.

I thought it odd too how they put the moral boost in an area that you have to get to by almost clearing everything.

Actually I think that's a pretty good place to put it. Mineral Springs loops around, and that place is about half the loop. So when you get there, you could refresh your party and continue the final stretch for those last 2 or 3 bosses =)

Funnier still... There's a Seer and an Eidolon up there as well.

You can actually infuse your armor outside the Iron Mine mission. Dunno why you'd want to since you have to zone out and back in to get another piece.... And its in the vicinity of this statue... Another could-be useful game item buried away so far that it is useless.

Since there will soon (hope) be new content that is slated to be placed south of that area, I wonder if it won't then be more accessible.

Look, that's what EVERY statue does when in EAs, so stop posting it all the time!

All statues do it (save for statues located in pre-searing or in towns), as far as I've found.
