I'm not sure if there are or will be any plans for tournaments. If not, here is my suggestion just to get the ball rolling.
By tournaments I mean, elimination - bracket type of competition – separate from the ladder.
They could hold it about 4 times a years. Any guild can enter.
Rounds: each round has a time period, lets say 4 days. A team can enter that round during the time period. They play a randomly selected team. Then it's the best 2 out of 3 of some soft of match (not sure what it would be). Once you lose a round you are out of the tournament. All winners can move on to the next round.
When it gets to the quarter-final perhaps it can become more of a special event.
There are of course many things that need to be worked out, but my question is, is there anything like this already being planned?
