pve, pvp

ok if you have a pve character you can also do pvp with it, but can you progress your character in pvp like if you or can you lvl in pvp and does it go to pve also and can you get skills items in pvp and use them in pve. sorry only got to play last beta a little please explain. or is it better to have a separate character for both. sorry about punct. but if you can read it shouldnt matter.
Bgnome
but it does matter. clarity is important.
anyhoo, if you create a PvP only character, that character can only travel to PvP areas and your guild hall. if you create a PvE character, he could potentially travel anywhere on the map, including towns, outposts, PvP areas, and the guild hall.

Here is, perhaps a novel idea: why not let the moderators worry about whether posts are appropriate, inappropriate, conform to the guidelines, don't conform to the guidelines,, and anything else while you post merrily away? If there's an issue you can bring it to our attention - privately - or you can ignore it. While we appreciate the efforts to police the boards yourself and to make sure that we have a healthy and functioning society we also don't want a wave of forum vigilantism because, as you might have noticed people can take it very much the wrong way.
That said,
No, but it is the first language of these boards. If you can't understand it, why are you here? And if you can't make at least a reasonable attempt at communicating in it then you're welcome to post elsewhere. GW has a wide and diverse community featuring many websites in many languages so it's likely that one's right for you.
You get to preview, get to edit, a post before it's submitted, so there's really no excuse not to have passible spelling and grammar. Mistakes and errors happen, of course, and we don't expect people to post with a dictionary and thesaurus handy - the occassional error or typo doesn't matter - but we expect you to make legible posts which others can have a fair chance at understanding.

I don't want to make it like we're the grammar police around here. If what you say is important enough for other people to read it's important enough to spend the time to get right. We fully understand that GW is an international game and people around here aren't necessarily have English as their first language. As long as you can make it legible it's probably going to be okay. We just want the effort made rather than people not giving a damn when they post, that's all. It's alright to make an honest mistake or have an imperfect grasp of english but there's no excuse for being sloppy.
The point being that we have standards here and those standards are in place so we can all converse with one another. There needs to be a bare minimum in place for everyone to be able to understand each post. And it's every poster's responsibility to hold to those standards. If a post's a problem, believe me, we'll hear about it and we'll remove or alter it as the circumstances warrant. If a post is still around then odds are it's alright. As I said, we don't require everyone to have their Masters in English to post here. Just to be able to get their point across.

My opinion is the original poster knew that there post was written in bad form due to the statement saying sorry for the punctuation. We do require that you take a few moments and word your posts so that they are easily readable. You don't have to be a literary protoge' to post here, but we do require some time to be put into posts.

We should pobably quit argueing with eachother and attempt to answer his question. That being said ill be quiet now.

Eh, Bgnome already answered his question. But, yeah, back on topic people.
