Can someone explain this infusion business? I go to this new Mission called The Mines of Moladune. Everyone was claiming that "I'm a fully infused monk looking for a mission" and "LFG people to do mission, fully infused only" or "Looking for infusion runs."
Someone told me is you get like 30 stat points, one person told me it was making your armor better, but you must pay $15000 or something like that. Apparently if you arn't infused, everyone agrees that you die in one hit. What is this, a joke? Everyone is telling me different stories, and I don't know what to believe.
Infusion? What?

I don't know either, but I'd say do the missions and see how it turns out... probably, if this were a single player game, you'd never know about infusions till you did that particular mission anyway.

All of the Mursaat have an attack called Spectral Agony. Unless all five pieces of your armour are infused, this attack causes you to lose about a quarter of your health every second or so for about five seconds, if I recall correctly. It's possible to beat them without infusing your armour, but the healers won't be pleased.
If you want to see what it's like without being infused, try running the mission with henchmen. Otherwise join an infusion run group. There's a cinematic in there that explains a bit better, although people probably won't be pleased if you don't skip it.

does infusing your armor help u in PvP or does it just help for the mission (rpg portion of the game)? if it givs u an advantage in PvP i'll do it. otherwise it seems senseless. jus my thoughts here.

It's useless in PvP, but pretty much manditory in PvE, at least for one section of it.

I have a problem with Infusing MORE than one piece. If I was a true RPG'er than I wouldn't do any mission MORE than once, and therefore isn't MANDATORY.
The game really only requires you to do it ONCE, and you can get through the mission fine...

Please note that nowhere in my post did I claim it was mandatory to get EVERY piece done. Yes, you can do it with just one piece infused, but try it with zero pieces infused.

For the purpose of completing mission, yes, you only need one piece of armor infused. You still take quite a bit damage from Mursaat but that damage is halved, and is enough to get mission done. There's a secret route east of Seer's cave leading to back door of the mission's goal, a traitor named Markis. But more often than not, people want you to be fully infused head to toes, so they can do mission by taking on Mursaat mobs HEAD ON. Some do this for elite skills because of many bosses there, some do this for drops, and many of them do this out of pure stupidity. If you had just one piece of armor infused, my advice is either do mission with people you trust, or with henchies taking the same route to Seers to get to Markis. Those PUG's that want nothing but fully infused members simply mean they are looking for troubles. And often than not they die at hands of Mursaat bosses, even with fully infused armor. But for later missions, it's still worthwhile to get yourself fully infused on all 5 pieces of armor.
