Mirror Image Battle

I am a Necro / Mesmer. I got to the Mirror Battle and got the CRAP beat out of me. Now I can take a beating just like the next person, But arenanet says it's a forum issue. This is plain and simple a overkill issue with what I went up against.

1. It can cast the same spell a few times in a row. (Example: It cast Signet Leech 3 times in a row)
2. Cast time is 1/2 to 2/3 mine and equal to mine if I use a spell to slow it down to 1/2.
3. Never runs out of power.
4. The Bow which I don't have does 2 to 3 times as much damage as my weapon.
5. The Axe cut my health down to 1/3 each hit. (Hello, I have 499 health)
6. How many times do I have to stop all the spells before it runs out or has to wait for cast time?(Oh wait hardly NO cast time..)

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST it is supposed to be a MIRROR, so why is it that the MIRROR can cast spells not equipted?

I have 53 skills I went through about 30 combs trying some twice.

With that said If anyone know the best way for my build to kill my MIRROR i'm all ears. Until then I bug Arenanet.....

Dont put to many useful skills, dont worry about debuffing or anything of the sort...Mirror image is a little misleading as well as the mirror is stronger, i did it with my necro warrior using sever gash virulence and vile touch and have never lost..on a side not i aslo used strip enchantment to keep me healed...have a useless enchantment like death nova up and the mirror will cast it over and over allowing you to strip it for heals...as long as you dont use enchantment, the mirror cant heal and it will use Strip 3 or 4 times trying effectively wasting energy and damage potential...

Load 6 enchants, shatter enchantment and backfire. Cast backfire on the mob, then commence attacking. It will sit there and buff itself to ..well to death. Use shatter enchantment whenever it comes up, and dont enchant yourself.

The only problem I have is that it was using enchaments and skills I had not loaded yet. It even cast Leech Signet(45secs cycle time) 3 times in a row with in 10 secs. I stripped down to 3 enchaments and it casted 7 times within 10 secs. (NOTE: all were heavy energy spells) But thanks for the idea I appreciate it a lot....REALLY....

I tried this but it didn't work because he only cast Backfire before he started raping me with his bow.

Heres and idea..get a skill called awaken the blood(its in fishermans haven) This makes you sacrifice 50% more hp when you do sac health. Then take all of your sacrifice health enchants. Also bring rend enchantments. As he starts to cast the enchants he will lose his health. then strip the enchants to make them worthless to him. Watch him kill himself...its how i beat him. Quite funny actually to see him shoot himself in the foot.

For the help, I have BEAT my double....The key is the combo's.
1. 6 Enchantments is incorrect.
2. 4 Enchantments(Any that do not give benifit to the Mirror) and 4 Spell (Spell: Dark Pact, Hex: Backfire, Spell: Strip Enchantment, Spell: Strip Enchantment)

Awaken Blood was part of the key for a Ne/Me The other was of course Backfire.

(NOTE: I did not see Awaken Blood on this forum, before I beat my double. I was actually looking for Death Nova.)

Use:
1st Part: BACKFIRE>SHATTER ENCHANTMENT>STRIP ENCHANTMENT

2nd Part: These alone will bring the Mirror down to almost nothing.

3rd Part: If the Mirror is almost dead before you die cast DARK PACT.
(Why DARK PACT? Simple it's an who died first thing. Lets take Magic the Card game. If you cast an interrupt what happens is the effect takes place first before the damage(Spell/Enchantment) done to you EVEN over the enchantment of Backfire. So you hit first he dies. Ascend. )

Interrupts are gone. Only instants and sorceries remain.

I beat him with Backfire, Empathy, Chaos Storm and Swirling Aura.

There are many, many strats, but what I figured out was you have to be able to put up with his damage at least somewhat if any of them are going to work.

If you want to do it easy way..

Empathy and Insidious Parasite

First cast Empathy on him then Parasite and watch him killing himself :-) Just keep casting spells as soon as they run out. My mirror killed himself in 50 secs Oh, and just stay still and do NOT attack him ..
