The North Wall mission really chapped my buns tonight. Partner and I and the henchies slaughter the zone, find the Charr, sit through the cut scene, and run screaming like little girls as fifty or so Charr are chasing us 'home'.... we have the door in sight... lag hits and when it clears, we've got five seconds left, and are too far from the door (rubber banding) to make it. The timer runs out and we die on the spot.
Great.
We sat gaping at the screen for about a minute, looked at one another and said, "F this!" and logged for the night.... but not before realising that even without the lag, we were hosed. We couldn't see a lever to open the doors we were at, and even if we had opened them, the Charr would have flooded in right behind us.
Now we're trying to figure out how the heck we're even supposed to win this thing (lag notwithstanding) because it tells you to find 'a new way back to the wall', but be damned if we know what it could be... and obviously the timer isn't going to give you time to figure it out...
So... um... does anyone happen to know the best route from the Charr Fortress back to the wall by the 'new way' they seem to require?

The way is still the same as it always was, all that is meant by "new" is not the same way you came and that leaves one option ..i just did the mission 2 days ago with my lil monk and had no issues...also there is no lever pulling required to open any door after the timer starts, the path leads straight back to the gate you leave from when starting the misson...there is another door but it is going the wrong way and the char bust it open as soon as the cut scene starts so im still a little confused by what door with a lever you are talking about
If you keep the Map area (U by default) open you should be able to see a clean path back ( area with no red dots on map) leading straight to the wall where you started from

You end up talking to the same guy who gives you the mission. Only one of you has to finish, if one is a Warrior, use sprint.

There is plenty of time to do this mission, I always seem to make it back when the timer is at 1:06. Hit the U button and you will see why they say find a "new" way back. Dont fret, youll make it.
