What is the spirits job and can they harm you?

Can u clarify spirit? there are many spirits in this game? Does it have a red life bar ,green life bar, yellow life bar?

Spirits come from the "Ritual" type skills of the ranger. Most of them last quite long and the effects of the spirit's presence is universal. This means that it affects both your allies and your enemies. These spirits can't move or attack, and they can be killed before the duration runs out. But no one ever bothers about them anyway, haha!

Now that's just another NPC... If I'm not wrong, that's an outpost somewhere around the D'Alessio Seaboard, where you can see all the statues and avatars of the Old Gods. That one you posted is an avatar of Melandru right?

Hehe well as long as it doesnt have a red bar over its head its not an enemy, at least for the time being. There are a few areas where you can /kneel at statues of the gods little plaque and a spirit or avatar will appear...several of these have small functions and some have none yet. I cant really tell if that SS was of a druid from Maguuma jungle or if its a spirit of melendaru...all i can tell is its not a rangers spirit lol. What zone did you find the spirit in?

Temple of the Ages? Where else besides the obvious could you find a God other than the temple?
