ok I was almost ****ing done.. doing it with all mercs.. and it was my mistake killing off there guy that was bringing the stone to one of the portals... godamnit they sent another one and he took my last one I had.. if I do it with real people can we have each person carry one?

No, but you can have each person (except one of course, the runner), sitting outside their area and gimping their runners (hamstring, pin down shot, ethereal burden, etc.) and slaughtering those.
I believe only the Seekers run the stones, so take them out.
After that it's just cleanup.
Btw if you'rre doing the bonus be sure to do that BEFORE you claim the last portal.

I don't think I've completed the bonus on that mission, but yes just use knock down or slow down spells to take them out. You can get multiple people carrying the stones but they don't reappear straight away so you have to wait. You can always get one player with a speed buff to run the stones while you take out the guys that carry the stones (just keep replacing the one they go for) - then if your team dies anyway the runner might be able to finish it off.

You don't need to fight here at all unless you want to complete the bonus. I just did this for the first time (4th overall) on my elementalist with only henchmen.

The three attunement pads are arranged roughly in a triangle around the henge portal. I am going to refer to the pad closest to your crystal spawn as the "bottom pad", the one to the left if you are looking at the henge portal from the bottom pad is going to be the "left pad", and the other is going to be the "right pad".
Some notes:
1. The mantle will always go for the left pad first if they don't control it.
2. The mantle start out with the right pad in their control.
3. The attunement race starts as soon as you attune the second pad in the previous area.
Once you attune the second pad and receive the mission message make for your thorn pedastal. Attune the bottom pad right away and return for another crystal. Run over to the left pad and wait until you see the mantle crystal runner about 2/3rds of the way between the henge portal and the bottom pad (be watchful here, if the mantle get the bottom pad it's game over). Once you see that, place the crystal in the left pad and return for a crystal. The mantle should continue to place their crystal in the bottom pad (if not, you did it too soon). Now you have a big advantage because you should already be on your way back to your pedastal while the mantle have to run the farthest of the three distances back to their pedastal and then the second farthest to reclaim the left pad. Re-claim the bottom pad and go grab another crystal. Make a mad dash for the right pad (outside route is best). Speed boosts are not necessary (I completed it without them).

trying to complete the bonus is just slightly trickier. you have to get rid of all the runners and escorts, and then get rid of the demagogue.
and its not always a seeker running, i've seen the knights run the crystal as well.
basically we picked off the crystal runner and proceeded to take out the escorts as best we could. since we were doing both the mission and bonus at the same time, we opted for 4 humans in the group and 2 npcs. i camped the way to the left pedestal, while the other ranger with us camped the other direction, with a warrior calling the runner, an ele as backup along with the henchies. apart from some slight confusion we were able to do the bonus
