Guild Names Reserved?

Okay, I’ve heard a rumour flying around that the Guild names are going to be reserved. Apparently there was an interview given by Gaile Grey that the Guild names are not going to be wiped like originally planed, so there are a few points to this post:
a) Is this true or is it simply some wishful thinking? (If anyone can post a link to where the Gaile Grey Interview is please do so)

If this is true:
b) How is this going to work?

It wouldn’t seem fair to me to give people who have started a Guild the “right’s and privileges” of a Guild when the launch actually happens. Does this mean that only the names of the Guilds will be reserved for those who originally started the Guild and in order to set it up again need to come up with the cash once again?
There are a lot of questions that follow this decision and I am simply wondering how it shall be implemented.

I haven't been on line as much lately so if this has already been answered feel free to disregard, and mutter indignities towards me

I have heard both things. I am very interested in the Interview if there is one. I have semi-mixed feelings.

I think a complete wipe of everything is needed when the game comes out. At first, it will be weird when some random people make The Fianna before the real Fianna members can make it, but eventually I don't think the name of the guild makes that much of a difference. The good guilds will be recognized no matter what their names are.

I don't dispute your point, and if anything I agree with you (a definite reason I wasn't too upset with their original decision). I was more concerned about not having people a definite advantage over others. At least no more than the extra day to be online .

I was/am jsut so worried about it because my guild and I chose a name and I made a site around the name and along with the theme of the site. I would hate ie so much if I spent all of the time on the site to only find that someone took my guild's name, and me having to redo the whole site. But I guess I will just have to get the guild made asap when its released.

i dont believe that the how portion has been addressed, so i think you can only go on speculation.. many people think that just the name will stay much like your char name, your cape and guildhall will dissapear.
