Me/E Help

I'm a Me/E that wants to do damage and basically annoy the hell out of my opponents. Is it even possible to do good damage as a Me/E and still be effective? What skills should I use? What the hell do I do!?!?! Please help!!!!

I have been working on this build for quite a while myself and think it's very effective. What I'm planning on doing is making a fast casting fire elementalist. I have Fast Casting maxed (15 with runes) and Fire Magic maxed (13), and am currently packing Flare, Fireball, Fire Storm, Meteor Shower, Mark of Rodgort, Elemental Attunement (elite found at Perdition Rock), Fire Attunement, and Glyph of Lesser Energy (or meteor if you don't need it). My mana pool is 59, with 3 regen. With both attunements on, whenever you cast you get 80% of your energy back from the spell so technically whenever you cast a flare, you only use 1 mana so the 3 regen works well enough. I find this build to be very effective for dealing lots of damage at once, for instance priest rushing in PvP areas. If you have any better ideas for this build, I'd be glad to hear it

Thanks for the advice on a fast cast/fire build. I might try that out. I was thinking dom/air/insp but I've yet to find a build I like. I'll keep a look out for different builds, there don't seem to be many Me/E. Thanks again.

By the way. How the hell did you get 95 energy as a mesmer?!?!? That's a pretty nifty trick...

95 energy...impossible as a mesmer I believe. Thats hard even with Energy Storage, which primary mesmers dont have access to.

So, I tried the fire/fast cast build and it works great! The spec will be 10 fast cast, 8 inspiration, 12 fire. I used Flare, Fireball (will switch out when i get mark of rodgort, fire attunement, etc.), Phoenix (I love this spell), Firestorm, Energy Tap (will get the elite version later), Ether Feast, Glyph of Lesser Energy, and Res Signet. I was doing obscene amounts of damage in PvP. It's so beautiful....

Thanks. I never made a mesmer though so I am going for a pure elementalist build. You should really be looking into getting elemental attunement for your elite and fire attunement equipped as well... and get rid of res signet, lol.
