Ancient Essence Item?!?

Ok, so i killed the "Ice BEast" in Mineral SPrings, behind the Statue of Lyssa, and it dropped the item "Ancient Essence". What the heck is this for? Is it just a quest i missed somewhere?

Wow, ok, so it is for infusion... but now im real confused. If you infuse your armor in Mineral Springs, whats all this crazy Infusion Run nonsense i see in Iron Mines of Moladune about =P.

Dunno, might just be a coincidence.
You do have to do the infusion runs (well you don't HAVE to but...) at moladune to get infused.

Well the seer was right behind the ICe BEast in Mineral SPrings and he infused a piece of armor for me, what else is there that has to be done in Iron Mines?

Um, i guess so. I never did any of that infusion run stuff and know nothing about it, just ran out to Mineral Springs to capture Shield of Judgement. Is this really something new? Or are you being sarcastic and i am just stupid? =D

If you're not lying (and I have no reason to believe you are), then I guess you really don't have to do the infusion runs in the Iron Mines mission...
However, to be fully protected from the Mursaat, you're gonna have to get every piece of your armor infused.

Hmmm this is interesting information. Where is the springs place at? *needs to go hunt down a map -_-;*
I haven't done the infusion run for the sake that not enough of our guild has been on lately to take with us so we can all be on TS together and make it easier to move, thos Mursaat are evil without any protection against them whatsoever...
We made it... barely into the mission before being murdered by them with henchies...
Perhaps this will be a slightly easier method to do the infusion before we hit the mission again...

The mission is doable with henchmen.

Found that by mistake too. Doing the infusion runs is 10x faster and easier though.
