Conjure Lightning + Kindle Arrows - Guild Wars Guru Archive

I've recently have put some points on wilderness survival and thought of using kindle arrows together with conjure lightning for some good damage adding. The thing is that conjure doesnt seem to work after i use kindle :s is that because it changes my bow damage to fire and the conjure stops working?? If so, will it stack the damage from conjure flame and kindle arrowS? Thank You

I know for a fact that Conjure Flame works with explosive and kindle arrows, so if the other conjures are not working, then it's probably as you suspected.

ha ok thx for the input

guess ill become a fire sniper then rather then a shock sniper, it really seems alot better with kindle arrows in it.

I take it you're using a Shocking Bow? Or not?
If not- there lies your answer. You need a bow with the elemental damage on it you wish to conjure, so a Shocking Bow for Conjure Lighning, Firey Bow for Conjure Flame.

I often use Ignite Arrows and Conjure Lightning. It should be no different for Kindle.

yeah i use a shocking bow, but it seem that when i activate kindle arrow the shocking damage changes to fire damage thus the conjure lightning doesnt work. Ive just moved my air pts to fire pts and now i have the increase in damage both from conjure flame and from kindle arrows, and it rocks \m/

I often use Ignite Arrows and Conjure Lightning. It should be no different for Kindle. It could be a bug with the skill. The game may be losing data. Its computing your hit in lighting damage, then adding fire damage, and again adding lightning damage. It could just be that it forgets to add the damage. Have you tried casting conjure lightning first and then kindle? I dont know if that would make a difference, but it might be worth a try.

And if anyone out there is a programer and reads this and says, "That makes no sense! This man is obviously a trained chimp!" Go ahead and post what you think, cause I am not a computer programer.

Just checked it out and kindle/conjure both work @ the same time for me...
