Secondary Profession change?

Hello, I am currently a W/R, and the build didnt turn out the way I wanted it. I was wondering how far into the game I must get to change my secondary profession. I am currently as far as Gates of Kryta.

you need to reach the desert and ascend. you are roughly halfway there.

then it seems kind of pointlesss for it to be so far into the game, should i just remake my character?

That seems even more pointless, since warrior/rangers are proven to be viable, and you'd have wasted your time. Unless you wanna do some pvp before you're at max stats.

when u change ur secondary profession. do you then have to go back through game and do all the skill quests for it or does it just like automaticly give them to u??

You only get a few starter skills(at most 4) when you switch professions, so you have to do the profession-specific skill quests and buy/capture the rest.

I played the whole game as a pure ele, and now I'm the same except for the fact that I carry rebirth instead of res signet. Don't worry about, play on

Was really thinking about changing second profession to MO or NE
I can't remember where you get it... but just to give you something to think about before ya decide to restart your character....

Rangers get an "apply poison" skill.... it works on any weapon.

Poison + Sever Artery + Gash = bad time for anything with flesh..... (that doesn't have a antidote sig)


Then again... my buddy is a R/Mo he has a monk spell .... something "judgement" that adds holy damage to all melee attacks....

tough call.... switch or don't switch.... starting the quest tonight that lets you switch.... will have to do some research I guess


QUESTION: is changing secondary proffession a 1 time thing or can it be changed again?

you can change as many times as you want

yes so we know all the benifits and all that... SO HOW DO WE DO IT, ive ascended now what??? is there a spacific quest we gota do or what, while u all are trying to change from ranger to monk im goin from w/mo to w/r lol

There are specific towns you much reach with Re-Trainers.
