Ok guys, here is something I've created, its simple and may just may work for you, the biggest problem is your router/modem not renewing its lease, so a bit of lateral thinking made me devise this cunning plan.

Open notepad and create a new document and type:

IPCONFIG /ALL
IPCONFIG /RELEASE
IPCONFIG /RENEW

Then save as IPFIX.bat

then, go to Start/Accesories/System Tools/Sheduled Tasks

Click Add Scheduled Task and browse to find the batch file you just created, click run every day and click next, make sure you click the open up the advanced options.

Then click schedule then advanced, then click repeat and set it to run every 14 minutes with a repeat time of 24 hours. If this works, your computer will renew its ip lease instead of your router doing it, this theorectically will do without any loss of bandwith in the background making you guys able to play GW.....if this works, if it doesn't.....I'm trying! lol

Edit : Slightly update, if you guys are still getting kicked off, try setting the schedule time to 7 minutes, then it has two attempts to extend the lease before the 15 minutes is up.

Edit : still get kicked off :sigh: at least only a few more days before I get optimum online.

Releasing your adapter will cause all internet applications to disconnect, that wont work. You can set your computer (and router if applicable) to use static settings, regardless if your ISP uses DHCP. Do an ipconfig /all and copy down:

-IP
-Gateway
-Subnet
-Two DNS servers

Go into your network options, change to static, pop in the above information, and go from there. Because DHCP uses "sticky IP's", you should be able to get away with these settings for quite a long time.

At some point you'll IP collide with someone else who the DHCP server gave your IP to. So change back to DHCP, do a /release /renew, copy down your new info, and switch back to static.
