Doing the Gates of Kryta mission.
There were 5 of us and Alesia healing.
We got to the swamps, and prepared to do battle with the Undead. This was going to be a quick mission, as it shouldn't take more than 5 mins or so to kill the required mobs in the swamp to complete the mission.
But there is always one Gung Ho Rambo who thinks he is indestructable and knows all. So, we let him die a lot as he said he knows what he is doing but I still tried my best to Heal him(Not easy being a primary Ele with a few Monk spells) while Alesia does her best to keep up with the others(They listen).
He goes down again. We killed all the mobs in the imediate area or so we thought(I was positive i saw a red dot) and then res him again. He runs off too quickly so we move on and yet again, he Rambo's in there and get's himself killed yet again. At this moment, there are an aweful lot of red dots about and I am quickly running out of Energy due to his silliness, me trying to Fire Storm the mass mob, save my own arse and help the others. I go down along with a few others.
I tried to explain to him, that I can't Heal and Destroy both at once if he is going to Rambo everything. Everyone, but him has a laugh at this. Luckily, one guy got back far enough and brought us up one at a time. We left Rambo on the ground(to many mobs near him) while we cleaned up and was then able to Res him, so he could then Rambo in yet again. Luckily, he didn't die this time, but i was constantly Healing him, while my powers were more Offensive than defensive/healing.
Ok, I was thinking at this moment, we should have completed this mission, but he kept running on. I said we need to turn back due to there being Red Dots back there. He said, won't make any difference, and bet me 1k in gold that i was wrong.
I agreed.
We finally got to go back and starting killing those red dots. All the time while he said you don't know what you're doing. Lets go kill the Drakes and End this Mission.
The other 3 and me, were like, what do Drakes have to do with completing this mission. We kill the undead in the swamp, case closed mission finishes.
He didn't believe me, so he left the group. So be it. The other 3 were with me, a bit of a trek back to the Swamp beginning, and low and behold, 1 red dot. We killed it, mission ends, we were happy as pie.
I then start getting PM's from this guy saying i owe him 1k. I said come and get it, I'm in LA District 3. Then comes, did you complete the Bonus.
I said, we were mission only, I know where the Bonus is and will get it later.
Then goes on about the 1k again, and I said, Pay up or shut the F*&k up.
I no longer hear from him.
The rest of the Team all had a good laugh about it, and we got the mission done.
All it took was one little word, LISTEN.
