Dan, check out the Hilarious teamspeak battle thread in Off-topic to see what this is about.
dansamy
Amy. And yes, I heard Leeroy's TS adventure. That's why I said "redneck". (And just so no one goes flaming, I'm about as far south in Alabama as you can go without getting wet. I think I'm kinda qualified to use the term "redneck". LOL)
Jackell
Ah, ok then. My bad.

I constantly see stuff like all your base are belong to us, but where did it come from? Im guessing counterstrike...
A11Eur0
I think I remember seeing it in a poorly translated console RPG, as early as SNES?
zemelett
I could have sworn it came from Star Craft...but I could be wrong on that one...
ZennZero
Nope - A11Eur0 is correct. It was an SNES shoot-em-up called Zero Wing. Some guys (who's name escapes me) made a Flash-based music video about it and earned themselves a place in internet infamy. Google for it if you are really curious.
nechronius
I thought it was for the Sega game system....
Yes, the dialogue is a classic example of poor "engrish" as it's called.
(captain) What happen!
(crew) Somebody set up us the bomb!
...
(crew) We get signal!
(captain) Main screen turn on!
Cats: How are you gentlemen.
(captain) It's you!
Cats: All your base are belong to us!
Cats: You have no chance to survive! Make your Time!
(captain) Take off every zig!

Classic.

I think redneck is an expression reserved for those living in Texas. So unfortunately I have take a point away from Dansamy.
You can refer to your self as inbred, koonass, kissin-cousing or any other hillbillyish-like reference but stay away from our Rednecks!!!! (yeah I'm from Texas, ain't a redneck but gotta show some state pride....don't I?)
