i have heard this game is action orientated and i am thinking about getting the game but i want to know how action it is. You know the Zelda games? thats what i call action. in zelda for example you can go through the whole game killing many people without getting hurt. is this possible in GW? because what will make or break this game for me is the battle system? is it based mainly on skill? mainly on level? or basically on both? for example WoW i HATE!!! its like i hit you wait 6seconds then you hit me repeat.... i hate that....

There's a LOT more too it than that. Level isn't important since you'll hit the cap quickly and everyone is the same level at that point. (unless you fight in the lower level areanas which are worthless). As for "without getting hurt", you're not only looking at the wrong game, but the wrong genre. You WILL take damage and winning requires a good teem including healers to survive. This also is NOT a one-man show. Don't expect to make one uber character that just WTFPWNS everyone else. It doesn't work that way in this game. A solid group is far more important that how uber the individuals are.

Yes, it's possible for a very well built individual with good skills (both in his skill bar and playing the game well) to take down a whole team of total idiots, but you won't see this very often. Technically, you will never see it as teams are always consist of the same number of players, even if the blanks have to be filled in with henchmen. The point is that a well-balanced group of decent players that plays well TOGETHER will take down a group of "uber" individual-thinking players every time.

It's action-packed once you get into the arena, but the most successful teams are the ones that play together alot. Where everyone knows their job and the group is built around each others' strengths/weakness. A group of people that play together regularly actually CAN be successful without much communication (beyond calling targets) once the fight starts. Such a group will stomp all over any group made up of individual "heroes" even if they are "better" than the individuals of the tight-knit group. This game is made for and balanced for group play, and a good group is far better than a group of good players.
