Map Clearing

Ok one thing I find annoying is that each time you have a new character you have to reclear the map. The main character that I took to 20 (W/Mo) I took time to clear most the map. I'm just anal that way sometimes. I like to see the entire thing and where I've been and haven't been. When I started a new character they make it as if you've never seen the place. Yes it is a different character, but do I want to waste time clearing again. OH HELL NO!! I think it would be a nice bonus feature, although it is not necessary to complain about, to make it so that once you clear a map area it stays clear for all characters. Landscapes and such do not change, I wouldn't think this would be a problem to have done. I just find that I spent a lot of time clearing map and now if I wanted it clear again I'd have to do it all over again, lamo.

No need for complaints but just thought other people might like to have this feature, especially if you are OCD about certain things like me.

I too am a completionist and have to clear the whole map. I could possible go for having the map cleared for all toons once one toon has done it, but the port points would still have to be unavailable until you've reached them on each toon. But I've found that the second time around I'm not as concerned with exposing every inch as I was the first time through. And I could possibly see some not liking this though, and actually prefer not to see areas that a toon hasn't been to yet.

My main i was maticulous about clearing as much as I could. My subs I knew where to go for what and how to get there fast so I just whipped through it with them. Currently use my main for exploring, and if I find something a sub would find of interest I just make a note.
