Unrated guild match question

I searched, found nothing.

My guild is currently in our hall and we want to do an unrated guild battle...but when the leader selects "Issue Unrated Guild Match", nothing happens and 'Next' becomes inselectable, though you can type a guild name in the list.

How does one go about issuing an unrated challenge without knowing a guild name?

all our guild battles were SUPPOSED to be unrated, but they all counted, so what is up with that?

I'm pretty sure unrated matches have to be arranged. Like... you issue a challenge to ___ rather than randomly.
