I've heard a LOT of conflicted information on this... All bonus missions are 1,000 exp ttbomk (I stopped doing them when i started at the desert) correct?

and getting every single bonus mission done does nothing for you right?

Based on my knowledge having completed the game i have heard no real evidence it does anything. Although many rumors about better item drops and such but you will always have those rumors and beliefs.

No, you do not get anything.

Don't underestimate the extra exp. Extra exp = more skill points. Means alot to me as I'm trying to unlock (AND learn, so Faction points mean nothing to me) every single Necromancer skill. So I've recently run out of skill points

I'm trying to do the same thing.

Unfortunately when I was lvling I ignored almost every quest that wasn't in the direct progression, so I ended up buying a lot of skills I could have quested for.

I'm getting close to finishing Necro off completely, but then I will still have Mes. There are a lot of skills.

I'm N/Me too and trying to do that.
I bought 8 skills i could've gotten thru quests, but only bc they were added for quests in later builds.
I'm missing 4 mesmer elites and 6 necro elites. No regulars.

Contrast the two:
1) idiots at divinity trying for the 10th time to get that 5th villager (i'm not making it up, it is true!)
2) smarties playing in UW/FoW earning 25k XP *easy*

Which is better?

A sense of pride and accomplishment. Well worth it in my opinion. Besides that?...no.

If you have a brain stem or coherant thought you'll go to the UW and get more exp then you could ever get from a mission.

To me, missions are more enjoyable than farming the same area for XP.

But... bonuses? I still enjoy exploring certain areas, I just go to the UW when I want skill points.

To answer the original poster's question: no, there is no special bonus for having completed all the bonus quests. They are a lot of fun to do, though, and there is the perk of 1,000XP from each. I completed most of the early-to-mid game ones with henchie parties, but after that you'll find a number that require cooperative human players to accomplish (the key word there being "cooperative").

While it may be true that rushing to the UW or FoW is more XP efficient, completing the bonus missions is still well worth it IMO.

Better is in the eye of the beholder.

I like the challenge some bonuses present, such as the villager quest. Call me an idiot if you like, but I'm just playing the game. It's fun to try and do some of the hard stuff.

Now, if I'm a PvPer in PvE'ers clothing, then obviously getting XP as fast as possible is the goal. But it's not my only goal, or much of a goal at all for me. Yeah, I want to unlock everything, but it's pretty low on my goal list. I mean, who doesn't want to unlock everything?

Everyone would do UW/FoW if there was no need to wait for the Favor of the Gods. Problem is to find a decent party when the Favor finally is back. So as long as its not possible to call for a party this way: 'lets be online saturday and do UW from 2pm-5pm' this option is only for the die-hards who are online very often and have a huge list of reliable players to invite for a party.
