Random suggestions/thoughts that could improve GW

Double post content:
I think A-net should make Celestial sigils a constant price
IE: constantly at 25,000gp etc.
Triple post content:
Also A-net should make the game easier depending on how many people are in your party
ie: for a party of 6 their should be enough to make it hard but not too hard
whereas for a party of 4 where 2 people left the enemies should be edited accordingly!

They should implement a /whois <name> command that would show a character's name, current location, level, and professions.

Have more then 4 characters. That would be sweet .

Mr. Matt
I think a /punchface emote that actually knocks other players to the ground would be good. That way, every time some plonker comes and dances right up against your back so that it looks like he's... well, you know... you can just smack him in the face and move out of the way while he's on the floor.
Failing that, I think the idea of a 'character top-up' system suggested by somebody here on the forums would be a good idea. Then you could buy extra slots for your account at a fairly low price. Keeps GW profitable, keeps us happy, everybody wins!

I think GW should have 4 slots for PvP and 4 slots for Role-Playing... Also you shouldnt have to log out to change your character... it's really inconvenient...

If I could have more than 4 characters I could deal with any/every other "problem" with this game.
And amusing as knocking somebody down might be, it would quicly become less amusing when the punks that used to be dancing behind you are now running around knocking everybody down.

or if they had a /chase command to make em run from the district...
or a /terrify command which does the same thing

It'd also be very cool if GW had housing... make it only 10,000gp for a house just to make it more like an actual life...

oh yeah good point
Like you could get a cabinet etc.
that'd be neato
maybe they'd do that
They said they might have houses when I e-mailed @ the support
Also if you could have 'kids' and they could be your own personal henchies
Double post content:
It'd be also cool if groups of people could establish a town using set stuff...
but it'd have to be really expensive or really hard to get so you dont have towns popping up all over the place
Ie: you take 5 steps next town, 5 more steps leave town, 5 more steps next town... Rofl that'd be funny...
All these suggestions would probably be added in the expansion pack

That'd be nice... also if when you were fighting you could see how much damage you were dealing out compared to your party members

I'd like the option to upgrade the henchmen a few levels for a fee. I've gotten stuck on missions and would gladly toss a few hundred gold in for advanced training. A NPC trainer could be used. You party with your henchmen that you want to train and click on the trainer. He quotes you a price and you hit ok. This way you could buy your way through a sticky mission without having to resort to calling up high level guildies to help the poor leveling slob. I hate doing that.

Ooo you have a good one... also if you're having trouble leveling you can pay for experience...
ie: *talk to skill trainer* skill trainer says "hello for a fee I will train you, making you stronger" 'okay' or 'will you teach me any skills?' or 'nothing I'll be on my way'
Also it would be 100 gold for --xp so it's not like 1000 gold=1000xp that'd be too easy.

Plus the advantages of such a thing would be that you could technically buy as many slots as you needed, rather than being limited to what you're given. So even if they increase the number of slots to 6 or so for free, this top-up system would still be something they could look at implementing.

As this game doesn't have a monthly subscription fee, they really need to make sure it's successful if others are to follow suit. If Guild Wars falls flat on its arse, the WoW people and all the others who charge a monthly fee will just point, laugh, and keep charging. So if they can make a few extra quid from character top-ups or something similar, then I'm all for it.

You can't let the minority spoil it for the majority. I know that A-Net may not be able to give us as many character slots as we want given that we're not paying a subscription. Maybe they can give us an extra two or three slots, but I'd like to be able to keep characters I've worked hard on building. So I'd be prepared to pay a small sum to get an extra couple of slots. You could just buy another copy of the game, but that doesn't add extra slots to your account, it just takes up more hard drive space and gives you a second account.
Folks sell copies of the game on EBay too. You want to stop selling the game too?

All perfect solutions
How does the idea of having a 'letter' system sound? Somewhat like e-mail, so if your friend isnt on and you want to ask/tell them about something they could find out...
ie: for different timezones

Yes! A non-real-time PM system of some kind would be good. Post a message whether they're online or not and they could read it as soon as they logged on. I have only a handful of people on my friends list, but I can never seem to catch them whilst they're online. It could be open to abuse, but if it only worked with a mutual system as below, that should limit it.
I would also like for the friends thing to be 'mutual'. As in, the other person can only see when you're online, and what other characters you have, if you've got them on your friends list also. Otherwise it would just sit their idle until the other person added them too. With so many jerks around, I don't really want random people using the friends list to find out whether I'm still online, and what other characters I play with.
With this in place, I'd also like something that allows you to see what area your friend is in -- if they're in the middle of a particularly hostile explorable area, chances are you don't want to be sending them a message.

I think housing is a great idea, I think that we need more room for guild announcments! I do however think 4 char slots is enough for one person. Think about it, all four characters are on one server, so that you can play with anyone at any time. Many other online games allow you one char per server, so if you want to play with your friends on one server but your uber char is on another you either have to pay a large fee to have the char transferred or you have to start all over again on the other server. When you think about we have it good. Also keep in mind that we arent paying monthly fees, and server bandwith is expensive, if we had, say eight chars then we would be cloggin the server and they would have to pay for more bandwith and we would have to start playing monthly. That being said I am definently not arguing, more chars would be cool but we would pay a price for it.

I'd like to see each type of item come in multiple styles that you could pick from when purchasing. I hate how everybody basically looks the same. Or at least they could make the different set pieces more generic so they don't look so aweful when mixed and matched.

Hello,
We actually have a whole forum section dedicated to suggestions. For the sake of organization, please use the Sardelac Sanitarium. It's there for a reason. Also, to Swarnt Brightstar, please do not double and triple post. A double post in these forums consist of any two consecutive posts from the same user, regardless of whether or not the contents differ.
The edit button will always be there -- please use it. This is a general request for everyone else, as well. I really don't want to spend my next 30 minutes deleting and pasting your double posts.. >.<
