There shouldn't be a problem as long as you are playing at different times. If you plan on playing together it will not let you.

I personally don't care if somebody wants to share an account (or cover for their multiple accounts on a fourm), but he asked if it was against the rules and we simply answered.

Bear in mind all your lists will be shared (friends/ignore/etc.) If you join a guild, your sister will be in that guild as well.
You 2 will also share the same vault space...

Go to bestbuy and drop 40 for GW for your sis -- if she likes it enough, it'll be worth it... and say you got two computers, now you guys can get closer.

Umm....my husband and I each play 2 charcters on one account on one PC. The game is not installed on multiple PCs. We (obviously) cannot play at the same time. The fact simply is 2 different people run the characters on the account. We have played all of our games this way since we have only the one PC.

Char A, B, C, D all on one account.
If Char C joins Guild X, then A, B, and D are in Guild X
If Char A adds Joe Shmo to friends list then B, C, and D have Joe Shmo on their friends list.

I have a couple in my guild that bought two copies so they could both have four chars, they share the computer so all their info is seperate, they're both in my guild and IRL friends too, so its all cool. I'd personally rather have two accounts rather than one, itd be odd having random people that know my bf whisper me thinking its him XD

Well, I asked arena.net. Specifically, I asked them if it was against the EULA for 2 individuals to utilize characters on one account installed on only one PC. (My husband runs 2 characters, and I run the other 2.) Here is what they told me:
So if your setup is like ours, using just one game account on one PC, more than one individual may use that PC & game account to play. You cannot use the same CD key on multiple installations or for multiple game accounts.
