Actually, it wasn't the bandwidth, it was the load on the servers, due to vBulletin's fairly brain-damaged implementation of sigs.

I don't think it would hurt, but i've kind of gotten used to not having to scroll through the endless signatures of quotes and lyrics and character information to get to the actual posts.

I am with ya. Thats all I wanted was a text only sig. What I find important about a signature is what is in the context of the words being used. Not some graphic. This is where you can leave something Funny, Witty, ect.
