A flashback of Gwen

I was huffing it through the stingray strand on my way to the fisherman's haven, when I looted a tattered girl cape, salvage item, value 100.

It took me back to the pre-searing days and 'lil Gwen.

Anyone know anything about this? Is it just lewt, or could it be related to a quest?

I found her broken flute but i can't find what i a ment to do with it.

Lots of speculation behind this one. My guess is that she's still alive. Either a Mesmer or a Warrior (watch what she says, you'll see the part about that), and probably deeply scarred by what happened. That's why I keep my handy Tapestry Shred with me, so if I ever happen upon her, I'll be there to show her who I am.

Could she be a W/Me or Me/W with great power... maybe she'll be an answer to peace.

Well I prety much convinced myself the pre-searing Gwen is broken.

After giving her a new flute and lots of flowers for the shred, she talks about her mom, Sarah I think.

Well I run into a Sarah at the fiisherman's village in regent valley, so I brought Gwen along...nothing. They didn't recognize eachother ;(

After that I've kept the tapestry shred in the bank and wondered what to do with it Xb

Ya, funny thing. A guy in my guild sold gwens broken flute for 9k in post-searing. It was halarious, I even met the guy that bought it. My guild amte was just joking around like "Hey, I'll sell you gwens broken fltue for 9k!" and the guy actualy said sure.

to me, she will always be an annoying, future prostitute.

When young girls are abandoned by their parents (notice she never mentions Daddy) they sometimes do turn into prostitutes in later life, but not always.

Other popular occupations for them are stripper, porn star, and dope fiend.

I thought she mentioned her dad died...

She does mention her father. I forget exactly what she says but it's something about him being a great warrior and taking her on an adventure. Someone else posted that she said some other NPC looked just like her daddy.

Who knows, maybe she's just there to drive us crazy.

She says if her daddy were there he would cut the bull up into steaks.
Also, I still find it weird you can equip her flute... i wonder if it does anything.

Also, sh wouldnt be that much older... 2 years right? So she gives you a useless piece of Tapestry "Quest Item", and you find her broken flute in various places around what used to be ashford. A flute that you can equip to your left hand...

Anyway I liked having her tag along, gave her the broken flute and then bought her a new one, also gave her all the flowers I found and bought her the cape. She mentioned Sarah her mother as a healer, and her father, a great warrior who she wished to do adventures with later. She talks of her father warning her of the bull which I keep killing just for experience heh.

LMAO dope fiend. I think the time frame of this game existed before crack, so i'll just leave it at "ale"

gwen in pre-searing is like a training thing to do with the henchman, when she starts following you round pre searing, she heals you.

i dont know, but here are my theorys:
1: she is a me/w
2: she died and is in the undeworld, in pre searing she talks about "mummy said i might meet him some day" about her father who died. so i reckon she is somewhere in the underworld, or will be put there soon. i think someone might be right bout the flute and tapestry, bout her reckonising you with them, i got both of em ^^
