Guild Wars more like Camp Wars

There are several types of arena games where the timer counts down and the most kills wins the match... well it just seems that every one of these ends up being each side camping till sudden death and then rushing the weakest armored toon (ele, mes) on the other side to try and get the win. The same happens in multi team matches in the tombs... people just camp out at the spawn point waiting for other people to kill eachother. And in HoH... same thing, camp camp camp rush.

Either they need to make the timers much shorter or change the way these maps work because they really frustrate me and basically sour the whole pvp experience. Camping is why I never played counterstrike and was always a straight deathmatch or tdm fan, and imo anet should move all the maps that require camping as a skill (sarcasm) to a separate part where they dont interrupt the rythm of otherwise semi-enjoyable pvp content.

If your team is solid you can just rush the squatters.

I've never seen this happen in the arena but it's what my guild does in tombs and we roll every team we meet. It also gives you an advantage since after you beat them down, you can kill the priest before they rez. Whereas if you lose, your priest is still safe and you can regroup back at your base.

Ha ha...I love the arena's with preists. I play an E/N, so I guess people just think they can kill the hard stuff and leave me alone because apparently, I'm weak(to them). Usually, people run past me, *try* to kill our priest or warriors, and I "sneak" by their defenses and smite their priest with my nuke spells...I'll show you weak! That's just with regular arena though, I doubt that works in HoH at all...unless the other team is REALLY....O_o
