Is anybody else experiencing severe connectivity issues today?

Is anybody else experiencing severe connectivity issues today? I have never had any problems connecting, but it takes multiple tries to log on, and then I keep getting booted off after only a couple of minutes online.

The server changes are happening tomorrow, so I don't see how this should be affecting me today.

Mostly I am getting erros 5 and 7.


Any help would be appreciated. Even a simple confirmation that it isn't only happening to me.

Would this maintenace keep me form installing the game?
I tried to install and it just stops where i connect to arenanet.

Yes because after installing the game or rather while installing the game, the installer attempts to connect to the server and get any updates. If the server is offline it can't get the necessary updates and will generate an error.

arg, I just got booted off halfway through a mission *growls* error 7 of course. Hopefully this clears up soon :S

I think that this was the same problem I was having. After you choose the directory you want to install to you get the "never-ending download bar."
How long do the servers go down usually? A day?

Hmm, It's still not letting me install?
It progresses so far and then stops (about 99%)
Any ideas?

Smae problem here. im getting the never ending download bar but ive tryied for several hours (last night and today). this serious stinks ive tried everything. is anyone able to install at this moment?

I have been playing since release. And I think this is the first time I have seen them do any maintenance. The technology behing the game allows them to have a close to 99.9% uptime.
