Why are the storage npcs always so far away from armorers and merchants? Wouldn't it make more sense to:
A.) Spread the storage agents around.
B.) Put them next to the armorer, the merchant, and near material and dye traders?
It's a very minor issue, but I just can't understand what the developers were thinking when they set it up this way.

To avoid everyone from clustering in the same area at the same time?

Why? You can open your storage window, and manipulate anything inside of it, till you zone, or close the window, from anywhere inside the zone.
Poppinjay
You still have to run around looking for them.
It isn't a big deal. It is mostly annoying because it shows an element the designers did not think through.
Even if you think about it from a role playing perspective, why would the storage agents position themselves furthest away from where they are most needed?

Does it take that long to explore the whole town? I was pretty lost too, but through exploring for new quests and isolated NPC's in new towns, I've memorized all important NPC's in major towns.
I'm pretty sure most of us were overwhelmed when we first got to Lion's Arch. The fact that the Armor and Weapons NPC were next to each other didn't really help if you went in the opposite direction of them. I supposed this is "bad design" and they should put all the NPCs next to the hench. [/sarcasm]

For some people it`s the only exersize they're getting.

It was only a minor suggestion (with an equally minor fix).
It is nothing at all like a gamestopper, or even that serious. I is just one littel annoyance that I thought I would mention. I was not trying to blow it out of proportion.

I understand ya. I wish they were closer at times as well. I do understand the issue of overcrowding as well. So it's a toss up between my ease of comfort, verses realistic demands in a MMO.

Having trouble finding the storage guyz? Well ladies and gentlemen, the solution is simple! Hold the "Alt" key (or in my case the little orange button on my n52) and spin 360 degrees... this (holding of the key) highlights all NPCs in the immediate area. I also use it all the time to locate collectors that I may otherwise not find because I didn't physically see them.
Its also handy when selecting the merchant that some moron is standing directly on, one of those minor annoyances...
