i just started playing yesterday. i left pre-searing last night and i'm "already" regretting things. i need more information about the game in order to prevent more regret.
if anyone can answer any of these questions or even speculate as to their answers, than i'd be appreciative.

where can i find the sigil that allows me to capture skills?

are there many shields in the game that are based on the tactics attribute? i don't think i've seen a single shield so far that "had" a prerequisite in either strength or tactics.

are tactics shields comparable to strength attribute shields as far as armor level?

what is the armor level of the high end strength/tactics shields anyway?

can tactics shields get as big and imposing looking as stength shields?

if shields are just damage absorbtion and don't "blocK", than whats the formula that determines how often they add their damage absorbtion to damage done?
or do they always add damage absorbtion like focus items always add to your max energy?

since you just got started you might wish to review these items and start a fresh character as you cant have scratched the surface of what you could do and you will only regret it more later

You've barely started. Signets for capture you won't see or have any use for until Lion's Arch at least. I don't know about shields I don't play a warrior. There are quite a few types that I've seen though. All look different.

Yes as far as shields and what attributes are on them--I have seen it pretty random. Meaning that it uses either strength or tactics on the same tpye of shield. I would guess that tactics would probably be more valuable because of the higher demand?? Since secondary WA's can't have strength--there is more people wanting tactics shields over strength ones. This is just in theory of course.

no one knows how shields calculate into combat?
