How Does a guild get a guildhall

i have a guild know and everyone is asking me when are we getting a guildhall i keep telling them i dont know. So my question is where do i get a guildhall. And a guildhall is only for are guild right its just are land. And what do you do in a guildhall.

you can get one at Lions Gate he is by the beach, i think he is either on the pier or on the boat at the end of the pier i dont remember. but he is there

You need a Sigil wihch can be obtained by winning the Hall of Heroes or by buying one for a ton of money.

isnt there a mission where you get sigil's dont you get to keep there. And what do they do.

i dont think theres a mission such as that but i may be wrong, theyre used strictly for buying guild halls, thats it, no other uses.

Sigils can only enter the economy one way: When they are won at the HoH. Winning a Sigil at the HoH is very difficult, so many guilds choose to just buy one instead.

Buying a Sigil can be done through the trading forum, the trade channel, or through the Sigil trader (there's one in Lion's arch, and one in Tombs). Often, the sigil trader is out, because the difference between the buy and sell price is so extreme, that it doesn't work out well for either buyers or sellers.

At one point, sigils were selling for as much as 100k to 120k. Now, each HoH team that wins receives 3 sigils, instead of 1, I believe. That has caused the prices to drop. Last night, I saw one for about 78k on the trader.

You may want to check http://www.rpgtraders.net for sigils if you want to buy them. I see a few auctions (one at 55k), and a few people that are willing to trade one for particular superior runes.

From what I've read, a Celestial Sigil basically equals a guild hall. All you need to do, is take it to the guild hall guy in Lion's Arch, and he'll set it up the guild hall for you.

i dont think it ever went for 120k, considering any character can only carry 100k at one time.

I think 100k is the most you can trade at a time. I would assume that a player can carry far more than that, of course.

In this auction, the would-be buyer offers 100k, and no one takes him up. He still hasn't edited the auction, so I suppose his offer is still good
