What is the difference..

Ok, I'm confused about something. Let's say that i have the same, clean, no mod variation of bows. Same damage and everything, for instance 6-8. What is the difference between a longbow, short bow, flat bow, dead bow, and horn bow that are all not modded and all have the same damage? Is it just looks?
