Gwen won't give the tapestry shred

First of all, I'm new here. So, hello.
Second, I've searched all over the place to figure this out but I still can't find a definite answer.
Here's the problem: I want to get this so-called tapestry shred from Gwen. I've given her a new flute, a cape, and a ton of flowers. Everyone says that if I give her flowers I'll get the shred but she won't give me anything. I sold a bunch of the flowers before I found out what I was supposed to do with them and I believe I've already picked most or all of them and they don't seem to respawn. I've resorted to buying them from other players. Also, I heard that items can be transferred between your characters. So, can I make a new character, get the shred from Gwen, and then somehow give it to my main character? Any help is appreciated.

Don't worry, it doesn't seem to serve any purpose anyway.

I never got the tapestry with my first character. My second character got it after I hoarded some flowers and gave them all to her at once. She's an ungrateful brat sometimes...

I've never bought the cape before, but she's given me the tapestry shard on five or six different characters after I gave her four flowers in a row.

Try talking to her. As if you were telling her to stop following you. I don't know if you've done that or not, but once I was wondering why I hadn't got it, and I realized that I hadn't asked her for it. :-)

You don't need to buy her the cape...I think she just follows you around and heals you if you do. It's the flowers. But it doesn't matter, since apparently the tapestry shred quest is nowhere to be seen. And...like all quest items, its worth 0 gold.

gwen was always a pain in the butt for me and i wanted to attack her and use her scalp for a trophy lol jk

but does she exist in post searing i found her flute and carried that around for a while before i finally trashed it but i never found out what happened to her maybe i missed a quest somewhere

but can I transfer items from one of my characters to another?

u can transfer, during post searing, all ur characters share the same storage chest. as for the tapestry, it better serve some purpose, i've got 2 sitting around, free loading off my room and board.
