I heard about 2 of the designers of GW get married in the game, and I also heard rumors of some sort of marrige system on the game. Sorry if this has been asked before, but is it possible to get married or do just some people say they are married?

There is no way (currently) to have an official marriage and be a married couple within the game.

nothing i heard of, but if developers want to they can, right now no offical word on a marrage system and ya can't marry in game unless ya roleplay it at this point

ok then, thanks for telling me. Hmm, it might be fun to have some kind of marrige on GW. All you would have to do is invite many guests to an area and have a monk be the priest lol. Though for the RPing part, it would suck. I love to RP but on GW it kind of sucks.

If you hadn't noticed, pretty much everyone who plays GW is a nerd. If you weren't a nerd you really wouldn't be playing it.

For the most part, it wouldn't attract any more 'nerds' than are already in the game... Honestly, I think it'd be pretty fun to go to random weddings, I remeber people getting married on SWG and FFXI, it was entertaining, to say the least.

Well, maybe it could be a henchman, so it's not really stupid... I mean I'm just saying, because it's kind of stupid to have a 'connection' with someone you have no clue about... All it does is it encourages more molesters etc. to go asking about the person, how old they are etc....

For the people accusing other people of being nerds... wtf is a nerd in their opinion? Cos I play this game because as it's an online one with real people, it changes everyday. I need that sort of change to keep me interested because I'm housebound with medical problems most of the time and the computer is my main source of entertainment.

that's not entirely true. I played 2 varsity sports for 4 years in high school. I've been making my living as a model for the past 3 years...and I'll be leaving for the Navy in a month. I just enjoy playing video games...and I'm certain there are many many many others that do the same.

instead of concentrating on hockey content why not expand the horizons of other aspects ... like developing a port town that you can travel to another continent on ... developing side jobs like fishing and mining (god farming is the only career right now) ... heck take it a step further a develop air, or water maps ....
or perhaps one of the most popular (weddings) ... yeah right ... develop the ability of the guild halls. Make your GUILD HALL, aka home base, aka fort knox, really a piece of work. (I heard of having people able to view it ... but why not just add an area in your hall with a max seating like 25 or so for viewing your battles ... constrained to this viewing area to chat with others) maybe even develop it enough to have in guild battles you can loot the defending home turfs treasures ... you get my drift ... make the guild halls worthy of the lords we are.
