Aww, there there *hands you a tissue." You only have 2 more weeks! It'll be here before you know it! And then you'll be free to charge into GW and go crazy with the new customization options, and dye your hair green or purple, or any other ghastly, beautiful, terrifying, or blindingly bright color!

Whoa! Hold that thought! Dye your hair? Can you? Will you? YOU SHOULD! That is brilliant! I quiver with excitement at the concept and possibilty. Why shouldn't you be able to? If you can dye your clothes....hurry! Make it so!

EDIT: I mean as you go through the game...with dyes...more than just selecting a colour from the character creation screen.

I didn't mean it literally. I was thinking more in a joking tone.. I mean, honestly.. where else do you get purple/green hair except by dye? But I guess you never know, in a fantasy setting O.o

So don't bounce off the walls yet.. I meant the creation screen, not anything else. Besides, I wouldn't exactly be an authority on this. You could make this a suggestion on the suggestions thread, though..

Hehehee, back to the whole physical build options desires, talking about that reminded me of the Madden NFL games. In those you can customize the exact percent body fat and amount of muscle specifically on the arms, thighs, calfs, and overall on the body. Though, (heehee, I forgot to mention the "rear" for the body customization) something like that may be quite drastic it would be kind of cool to have some customization options for the physical build of the character.

What I was thinking was more along the lines of the old NBA Jam (sorry for rambling random sports video game titles but I'm a sports games fanaddict; I still reminisce about the Sega Genesis days with Joe Montana football... ) titles where you could choose between as I recall skinny man, muscle man, or heavy man as the build for your created player. While those wouldn't be the exact choices for the builds (as much as I'd love to see a heavy build elementalist think Fiona...) I still think it might be neat to be able to have at least some control over the build within each profession.

One thing I wouldn't mind seeing, is something along the lines of what Phantasy Star Online did, when you change a character's height. In PSO, the character's proportions (head, etc.) changed automatically as the height was adjusted so that a short character actually looked like a short person, and not a bizarre shrunken version of the taller characters... If that makes any sense. Right now, characters with their heigh scaled down simply look miniaturized.

You can dance in your lingere beside me at the fire every night...
So, is Drizzt your boyfriend if you're not 'Ms' yet?
...I did a roleplay once, my friend played the character Drizzt -- our characters got along... and razed an evil city together.

Back on topic:

Have there been any changes to the hair lengths for guys? No matter what profession.
You shouldn't be able to identify every warrior by their hairdo. I would love to have a ranger with chest(or bosom, if you will)-length hair... because in my mind that's what I envision the character looking like. A warrior I might envision having short hair, not jaw-length.
And I agree with the 'body builds' thing. You shouldn't be limited to one body build and only be able to make them taller or look like midgets.
I wanna make a tiny healer... smallest stature they can be. But I don't want them to look like an under-developped person.

Sorry Mss is just because I picked a female character. They are easyier on the eyes; much.

I always play female characters because of that fact. Better to watch the rear of them than that of a big buff male.

I bet we all agree that the armour sets regardless of dye can be easily recognizable for what the primary class is. Body build just makes it too easy. Having different body builds for a class could mean just that much more strategy you have to employ when in a match. Although you should know what the armour sets are basically....

I would really like trying to play a monk primary, but seriously........ the body build for the monk is just a "NO" for me.... sigh* I mean most would say then don't play it if you have a problem with having your toon with that body build. That is exactly why I'm not playing monk primary, because of the body build. I'm pretty damn sure if you make a monk with a body build of lets say a mesmer then you will still know its a monk because of its armour. but oh well GUILD WARS ROCK!

Wow I feel like such a n00b. I played the last BWE, and my friend told me about it, but I couldn't play til last weekend, we're a little behind I guess...

Anyway, I was hoping for darker hair color for elementalist, I'm glad to see there are. The kitty ears are so cute! Wow the monk fem had better have a few good looks next BWE, I never got a look at them last time. I was an Elementalist/Range and a Range/Monk.

Dyes would be nice if they dyed more than just the padding, and there seriously needs to be a dye shop, not just a dye trader.

All I have to say for now and I'm glad to be a part of GW!
