I was just wondering if poison and disease stack? I have been using rotting flesh and when the first mob drops, using necrotic traversal to try to poison the remaining mobs. Am I just wasting energy and putting myself in harm's way, or am I causing -8 health regen? Thanks

I was wondering the same thing, also if you don't mind I'd like to add a question to the post. Disease is contagious and poison is not, correct? Are there any other differences between the two?

Yes they stack - up to 10 pips of health degeneration. And yes Zorque, you are correct.

agreed.. poison and disease are two different conditions and therefore do not need to 'stack'. You are just inflicted with both at the same time and are pretty screwed unless you heal quick

I wish I could remember where I read this, but I DID read it; Apparently, although you are capped at 10 pips, the cap is applied AFTER all regens AND degens are taken into account. This means that if you have an 8 REgen effect, a 6 REgen effect, and a 3 DEgen effect, you will get 8+6-3=11 capped to 10 instead of 8+6 capped to 10-3=7. And it woks the same way with degens capped on the low end. Wow that was a crappy explanation, but I think I said it correctly. So stack 'em up as high as you can get 'em!
