A bit of an unoriginal build, but i didn't take it from anything, so i guess i can call it mine ^_^
its kind of a subtle mix of the Mage Killer and sniper builds with minor tweaking, and i haven't finished him yet, so most of the skills im using will not be my finals.
Intended Build [Rng/Me]: (without any runes or bowstrings etc.)
Expertise: 8-11
Marksmenship:10-12
Beast Mastery:0
Wilderness Survival: 4-8
Inspiration Magic: 0
Domination Magic: 4-8
Illusion Magic: 0
while inspiration yeilds some great skills like ether fest, i didn't want to spread my points too thin, so i left it out pointwise.
Current skills (i alternate some depending on the occasion, that is why there are more than 8)
backfire
empathy
charm animal
comfort animal
power shot
hunter's shot
favorable winds
ignite arrows
troll unguent
lightning reflexes
skills i plan on using when i get them
power spike
(a few others, but i can't think of them off the top of my head. will edit with them)
any suggestions or comments?

yeh, for an assasin, a Beast can get in the way, i strongly advise taking him out especialy if u have not lvld Beasta Mastery, i am also a R/Me, im a damage dealer/"f**ker-upper" as i like to call it.
take those 2 beast skills out and i think Read the Wind is better than Favorable Winds because it doesnt affect enemy.
if ur going for disrupter, MAKE SURE u have a FAST bow, otherwise u'll find it extremely difficult to get the timing right and end up using a lot of energy. And on that note, the 1st Elite Skill i recommend is Makrsmens Wager - its a great skill that is very effective when using spells with ranger, since they have low energy.
i would maybe only focus on 1 mesmer attribute, i use Illusion because i like the skills and Image Burden helps (slows target for 16 sec) this makes it much harder for the enemy to escape ur arrows because they cant run fast. And the trust Conjure Phantasm never goes a miss, great damaging spell.
Apart from that, ur skills are very good, Domination is for damage dealing/disrupting, i wouldnt advise Inspiration.
My Build is:
Exp; 5
Marks; 10
Wilderness; 7 - I think, maybe out by 1 or something, like that tho
Illusion; 9
Skills;
Marksmens Wager (Exp)
Read The Wind (Marks)
Power Shot (Marks)
Troll Uguent (Wilder)
Ignite Arrows (Wilder)
Conjure Phantasm (Illus)
Image Burden (Illus)
Arcane Conundrum (Illus)
Hope these comments help u and i hope u have a lot of fun playing as ranger.

yeah, the beast skills are both temporary, never planned on using them... at lvl 10 (im at 12) my creature is still a bit of help, but once i hit 15 and have some more/better ranger skills im dropping him...
as for read the wind, in pvp i would use it, i only use favorable winds now because it has longer length, and against mobs it very easy to just plan the spirit way far back so it only effects you and not your opponent... unless the battlefield was favorable for that kind of setting up (stick a war in the bottleneck and sniping from above) i would use read the wind...
