Which version of the ATI drivers are you using? If it's the latest release of Cat 5 drivers, try going back to Cat 4.11 or the ones originally released with your card and see if this helps at all.

Remember to uninstall the drivers first, reboot and then install the Original drivers or Cat 4.11 whichever you have.

Is your PSU bellow 400 watt, if not I will forward that as your problem, try removing PCI cards and USB devices you don't use, diconnect drives you don't use and then try the game. If it works put them back one at a time, you may find a crash point or a faulty device.

This seems to be someones answer to everyones problem. It's the PSU. Sorry, I don't buy it.

The Spec on his machine is way lower than it is on mine and I run a 340Watt with max output of 314 and I experience no problems what so ever. Plus, my GPU is more juicy than his as well, and I have a lot of hardware in my machine.

With regards to the issue he is talking about, it sounds like Driver, Graphic or screen issues as it's refreshing back and forth and then causing an error.

As posted in my previous Post here, check your ATI drivers and install Cat 4.11 if you haven't tried these already. The reason for this, you have an ATI 9700 series card and the Cat 5 drivers, if you have those installed could be causing you problems. See how these go first.
