Hey guys...
Can someone simply this "mess" for me. People are selling Un'Ided items for 20+ k?!?! So these are unsalvaged items? Isn't "possible" to fail on these salvages? If so, who would, besides the crazy Ebayers, would buy these things?
And if you have say "unlocked" a rune before, does that mean you can not fail on it in the future?
I am so confused. See I kinda focus my mental abilities on seperating your head from your neck in PvP not this crapola. =)
Thanks
Id'ed,Un'Ided, blah blah

Is it Un-ID'd Items or Un-ID'd Runes. There will definitely be a market for Un-ID'd Runes...
Edit: AFAIK unlocking one rune does not effect the unlock rate of any other runes or items. You simple cannot unlock the same rune again, there would be no point. But if they are selling Un-ID'd Runes on ebay or even in game, it gives other players a chance at getting a specific rune for a specific class; and to unlock it for their PvP characters.

I bought 2 un-IDed runes yesterday and I was able to get a major divine favour and major protection out of it. Definately worth 5k each.
But you really gotta watch out for scammers tho...because sometimes you have no way of knowing whether they are selling you an un-IDed minor / major / superior runes.

I thought that they were now suppose to be color coded... Blue for minor, purple major, and gold supior(side not I wish I had not ided my Gold un-id's before the update, I got nothing out of them )

Well that is still better then nothing... lol

i think they said any rare item would yield at least a major

The unidentified runes are coded by image, not color (they all have blue text). The minor runes are a tattered rectangle, the major runes are a solid rectangle, and the superior runes are a scroll. Glance through the linked thread for a picture.

It really would be nice if they said minor/major/superior though.

Ok.. so what I am reading here, and correct me if I am wrong.. there are 2 points...
1. Probably the biggest driving factor, if you unlock a rune whether its salvaged or not, that rune is available to you on your PvP Character.
2. Rather then take the chance and fail, people sell the "Unidentified" rune to get some cash out of it instead of 10 cloths.
That about it?
