Focus Item Question and Picture!

I have a question about focus items. I am a Monk so my focus items seems to be the Healing Ank. My question is "Can you add upgrades to focus items, like you can on weapons?"

If so, could you please give me an example of an upgrade so I know what to look for.

Also - - so that I could compare a little... POST YOUR BEST FOCUS ITEM PLEASE! IF I could get a look at a couple really good ones, I could know what is good and what is just average.

I have never seen anyone buying/selling upgrades for one hand wand/foci/holy rod etc.

The best healing spec ankh is 12energy, 20recharge/20cast, or you can get one with 12 energy 30 health, -1 energy regen, +15 additional energy.

Strange thing is: there is no one hand rod using healing, only a smite and a divine one available. Anyway, I am using a 8 energy healing ankh, +1 heal prayer and 30hp. I probably will stick to it for a while.

The best focus item you can have would be +12 and maybe the following:

So far I don't think I've seen, heard or read that there are upgrades/runes etc. for Focus Items and the like primarily because Runes apply to armour and weapons are specific - i.e. Sword Pommel of Fortitude, Staff Wrapping of Enchanting etc.
