Gwen Question [Possible Spoiler]

I went exploring south of ascalon today, and all the way south I found gwen's broken flute. Is that just there? Or does it mean she has died in the searing? Would be a shame if she did.

I think gwen becomes important later on in the story line, but I haven't gotten that far yet (but I am keeping all of the shit she seemed to have just left around 
)

Actually, it's not quite correct to say that she dies post-searing. She dies *in* the searing. Skies darken, meteors rain, and little girls burn.

there is no gwen in the story line except pre-searing and underworld... throwing stones in game i find not possible.... i wish we can throw stones in this game... it would b fun

then got very violently tapped by a big black shadowy thing and that
was it... okay, maybe not that big of a spoiler but it does insinuate
that gwen has further involvement than just the cape, flute and....

I remembered Gwen saying her mother had picked a bunch of apples... Well, there's also the fact that she'll follow you except into towns. That got me thinking about the Orchard quest for Mary Malone outside Fort Ranik. "Could that be her mum?", I pondered...

Gwen wasn't a total nusience. If you got her the cape, pipe, and flower she would spam heals on you occassionally. Not sure if you needed the flower for her to do so though.

If her flute was in old ascalon and her cape in fisherman haven, that means her dead body must ofdrifted all over the GW world. Possibly she might be still alive?
