Henchman glitch

You know what i really hate is doing a quest for a couple hours with henchman and im near the end and one of the henchman gets stuck either up in the air or in a spot they wont move out of so you cant resurrect at the nearest point.

Is there anyway this kind of problem can be fixed with a command to kill the last henchman so you can all start at the nearest start point?

Yes, had this many times already and ANet are already looking into a fix on this matter.

Ya,i read other links and other people have the same problems,went in again and this time stefan the fighter just quit fighting and stood in one spot not moving,o well,gotta wait for that fix.

I'd like to add my 2 cents worth.....

Today on Galrath Mission ( with all henchie's tagin along ), starting from Temple of Ages, i got most of the way there and died. Then, apon respawning, the healer and fighter run THROUGH/OVER the terrain right back to the spot i died, and died again. Fighter henchie got back alive ( minus healer ) and i proceeded to kill Minotaurs all over again. Then, when i died ( Henchies were off doing something else?! ) the henchmen stood over me without resing the healer ( wherever she was ). After a coupla minutes, they ran off to edge of mini-mpa, and waited there for like 10 minutes.

To put it short, THIS REALLY SUX !!!!!

Speaking of Henchmen bugs, I do hope they do something about those fanatic henchmen that run off into battle where you last died just after you res at the res point. It is annoying to lose 2 henchmen immediately after your party respawns from a defeat.

something similar to that happened, our party died during Galarth Quest, we respawned and the bloody healer ran through terrain until she came to the end of the map, we thought we would all be fine but NO! she had to be the last alive and the only 1 that could heal! WE HAD TO START FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!!!!

Best thing to do is report this to their technical support. Make sure to provide the map it happened on, and which henchman it was.

Ok, before this thread grows any more, this has already been reported to ANet support and they are looking into the fix. It was mentioned by them in a Post somewhere on these boards.

So be patient and hopefully we will get a fix soon.

I myself have experienced the above problem. Often 2-3 henchies (out of my current 6) will clip through any terrain. Most of the time they don't run off the map but they will start the fight again while I'm on my way there. If I'm lucky, they're on decent terrain, which means I can res them or see them. Often they're stuck/hidden somewhere. It's truly annoying and sad that this glaring henchman problem is not addressed (especially considering the AI is fairly good).

funny, my henchman never run off when i died, in fact, they also run slower than me and most of time i get rushed by group of monsters (ex. Charrs, or other things)

Oh it's only a matter of time before you encounter it, unless they fix it by then.
