"Your animal companion attempts a Feral Lunge that deals +5-17 damage. If the attack stikes a foe who is attacking, that foe suffers from Bleeding for 3-21 seconds."
The bleeding duration for this skill appears to be broken - it doesn't last longer than three seconds (tested with 10 beast mastery); because pet damage isn't shown numerically it is difficult to determine if the additional damage factor is at least affected by beast mastery.
Not sure if this is a new thing for this skill or whether the other pet attack skills are similarly broken.
Feral Lunge broken?

I'll test with my warrior and get back to this thread.

Just tested it and sure enough, the bleeding lasts but a mere 3 seconds before it quits. I tried the lowest level to the highest level, and noticed no difference in duration. Definitely a depressing bug.

Speaking of which - where do I report this bug? support.guildwars.com or something?

I would like to know this too, I am not sure if using the /bug command really works and there are some game ruining bugs which need to be rectified asap.

In the update list for Wednesday, June 1, on guildwars.com it says:
- Fixed skill Feral Lunge duration of bleeding effect.
Does it now seem that this has been incorrectly fixed in some way?

Apparently. No matter how much beast mastery you take, the bleeding duration is 3 seconds right now. If that was their intention (i.e. the bleeding duration is only supposed to be 3 seconds) then the skill description needs updating, and the skill can be dumped right into the garbage bin for being rendered worthless.
But I expect they meant to fix it but messed up somewhere along the line, so they just need to hear about it. support.guildwars.com would be a good way, I already /bug'ed it in the hopes of those still being read, and these forums are definitely read, so I'm sure it'll get their attention at some time or another.

Yes, I just tested it myself, and indeed the Feral Lunge only ever causes 3 seconds of bleeding.
This is really bad news for me, because I have a ranger with 13 in Beast Mastery, and Feral Lunge has always been my primary weapon

Yeah; as a warrior/ranger I was looking forward to using Feral Lunge, but now that seems to be a pipe dream.
