about salvagable armor..

okay for salvagable armor like giant boots and so on, does the armor class effect the chance of salvaging?

or maybe the type of rune? i mean like.. for example.. if u had a gold armor, u can either get a maj/sup (since the last update u cant get minors from gold) will the armor class effect which u will salvage?

Considering that I seem to get minors from every freakin' thing anyways, including high AC stuff, I'd say it's pretty random.
