It has come to our attention, that we, the community are not being heard. I am afraid that this might be due to a certain person being fully encharge of Arena.net's Community Relations. We do not feel that this person is doing her job as it should be done, and giving her full responsibility to do it is a very big mistake.
What we believe Gaile Gray is doing wrong:
- Personal issues interfering with her job
- Directing certain "flaimes" to certain people pubicly
- Expresses a clear lack of professionalism
- Clear lack of response / information regarding the PvP problem
- Lack of PvP experience to understand half of her company's audience
- Often reports false information regarding gameplay, which is quickly corrected by community players
- Expresses a clear lack of experience in the game she's supposed to promote
- Only person responsible for CR
What we believe would fix the problem:
- Completely remove Gaile from the position of CRM
- Fire her completely and get a CR that won't bring personal issues and lack of experience to the face of Arena.net
It is clear to us, that Gaile Gray is not fit for the position she is in. She has showed this to us from the beginning of time, starting all the way from the beginning of Alpha Testing. I could go into names and tell you stories of people deserving to be an Alpha Tester (am not talking about myself here), who were invited by Alpha guilds, but were not let in while Alpha test recruiting was still very active, simply because Gaile Gray, 1 person in charge of the entire thing, having personal problems with certain people. I could also tell you stories and even post links where she truly expressed her lacking ability of either keeping a professional face when responding to concerned members of of the community, and her lacking experience of the game itself.
This post is not to call a certain person out, and it is certainly not to "flame" anyone involved with the project or show disrespect. It is simply a suggestion for Arena.net to improve it's CR capability, and to fix the false face that is being put on the company.
Sincerely,
A group of concerned players
